Sra. Verónica M. Solórzano is a member of the UPCS administrative team. She is starting her 27th year in public education. Before joining UPCS, Sra. Solórzano earned a bachelor’s degree in American Literature and Culture from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from California State University, Northridge. Sra. Solórzano has been a member of the UPCS community since 2004. She joined our community as a teacher on leave from Oxnard Elementary School District. While at Oxnard Elementary School District, she taught 4th-6th grade in their Spanish, English, and transition programs. As a master teacher at UPCS, she taught in the Dual program as the Spanish teacher on the Primary Years and Intermediate teams for 7 years.
In her free time, Sra. Solórzano loves to spend time with her family and friends. She is an avid cook and likes to share her recipes. She and her husband have two children. The oldest is a former UPS and UCMS student. Her youngest child, also a former UPCS student, is currently in college.
In her role as Director, she continues to work with our amazing UPCS community. She is always eager to lend support to students, families, staff, and to all our life-long learners.
She looks forward to another amazing year!
