    Sra. Verónica M. Solórzano is a member of the UPCS administrative team, now entering her 28th year in public education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Literature and Culture from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), as well as a Bilingual Authorization Teaching Credential and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

    Sra. Solórzano has been with UPCS since 2004, initially joining as a teacher on leave from Oxnard Elementary School District, where she taught 4th-6th grade in Spanish, English, and transition programs. At UPCS, she spent 7 years as a master teacher in the Dual program, teaching Spanish in both the Primary Years and Intermediate teams.

    Outside of her professional role, Sra. Solórzano enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is passionate about cooking and loves sharing her recipes. She and her husband have two children: their eldest is a former UPS and UCMS student, and their youngest, also a former UPCS student, is currently attending college.

    As Director of Student Services, Sra. Solórzano continues to be a part of the UPCS community, offering support to students, families, staff, and lifelong learners.
