We are thrilled that you are considering UPCS as an educational option for your child(ren). Enrollment at University Preparation Charter School is open to any student in California. We are a public, free, charter school. You do not have to get a transfer from your local school district in order to enroll in a charter school.
Enrollment at University Preparation Charter School is conducted through a lottery. Any students who apply after the lottery are automatically placed on the waiting list and a new lottery is held when necessary. The waiting list is only for one school year, a new waiting list is created each year after the lottery is held.
