 Welcome, Manta Ray and Octopus Parents! 
We are excited for this 2024-2025 school year and would like to welcome you and your child to our learning community. As a student in the Dual Language program, your child will have two team teachers, Señora Yessica Maldonado and Mrs. Taylor Abraham.
Sra. Maldonado is beginning her thirteenth year at UPCS. She received her Bachelor's Degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara and her BCLAD Teaching Credential and Master's Degree in Education from California State University, Long Beach. When she's away from the classroom, she enjoys running, practicing yoga, working on home projects, and traveling with her husband.
Mrs. Abraham is beginning her sixth year at UPCS. She received her Bachelor's Degree and teaching credential from CSU Channel Islands. She is a new mama to her 3 month old son, Sebastian. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, curling up with a good book, completing jigsaw puzzles, and traveling to new places. She also enjoys hiking, and running.
