Name:Brenda Goodson, M.Ed.Grade Level: 6Email: firstname.lastname@example.orgI started teaching over 25 years ago in Altadena at a boy’s home. Since then I earned my teaching credential from California State University Northridge, special education teaching certificate from Azusa Pacific University, as well as my Master’s Degree in Special Education (also from APU). I taught 17 years in Azusa Unified before coming here. This will be my sixth year at UCMS, and I love our family.
I have three fabulous grown-up children of my own and three wonderful step children. In February 2015, I married my sweetheart, Mr. Goodson. In my spare time I love to read, garden, and spend time with my family, of course.
Parents often ask me how to keep in touch. There are several ways I give out information.
I encourage you to:
1) regularly look at your child's agenda. It should be written in daily and is a great way to stay in touch.
2) look on classroom.google.com for current and past work. Almost all assignments are given there.
3) weekly check Parent Connection for grades. I try to update them regularly.
4) take a peek at classdojo.com. I input classroom behaviors and update events there, too!
As always, you may contact me at email@example.com or 818-275-1376.
Thank you for your partnership.
Brenda Goodson, M.Ed
