State Testing & Accountability

Students in grades 3-8 participate in the CAASPP testing anually.

The state evaluates the data and school progress in several ways. One way, is using the California School Dashboard and state and local indicators. You can find information on these: California School Dashboard

There are ten priorities the state looks at:

Priority 2 State Standards

Priority 3 Parental Involvement

Priority 4 Pupil Achievement

Priority 5 Pupil Engagement

Priority 6 School Climate

Priority 7 Course Access

Priority 8 Other Pupil Outcomes

Priority 9 Expelled Pupils (For county offices ONLY)

Priority 10 Foster Youth (For county offices ONLY)

Interpreting Your Child's Test Scores

Student Test Scores

Student Score Reports for this most recent testing administration can now be accessed electronically through Parent Connect (Q student information system). Contact the office for your Parent Connect Access information. To view the report, please:

Sign in to the Parent Connect Portal
Click on your students picture
Click on testing in the left sidebar menu.
Scroll down to California Electronic Score Reports. Your child’s test reports will populate by year.
When you click on the report button for the report you wish to view, you will generate a pdf copy of the test report.
